5  Ethical Standards

Applicants for DSP or AdvDSP status must agree to uphold the ASA’s Ethical Guidelines for Statistical Practice. (In addition, see Section 8.1 regarding ethics.)

Certified statisticians, including those certified with DSP or AdvDSP status, who do not, in the judgment of the DSCC, uphold these ethical guidelines may be subject to disciplinary action (see Section 16.1).
